I can't tell you how many verbal spats I've gotten into because some completely random jackass got mad that I told him he can't use my phone.
This happens so often that I think it's beyond just people forgeting their phones/being shitty at managing the battery charge on their phone.

Sometimes I'll help someone out if they really need to make a call and ask me. I won't actually give them my phone obviously. I'll put it on speaker have them talk from there. Everything typically works out fine.

But today, (as usual) this one fuck comes out of nowhere and asks to use my phone. It's whatever, so I tell him sure and that I'll put it on speaker.
This dude looks all offended and storms away, bitching about how I'm "Doing too much". I can't stand people sometimes...

I never hand them my phone, but I offer to make the call for them if they don't seem sketchy.

People who want access to your phone and get angry when you don't give it are often scammers. The "I need to make a call" and "I am sorry I am trying to find the right number." Is a common scam. The two variations is.. them buying time to install malware on your phone or they are being paid to provide numbers to other scammer groups so they are calling those numbers and getting your phone flagged on their servers.

Scammers get angry as a way to bully people who don't comply with their scams.
Whatever their situation is I don't have over my phone to people. Like I said, if I do decide to help them out, I put it on speaker and we make the call from there.

The number of assholes who believe they're entitled to "using" your phone and throwing a shitfit over it is hilarious.

Maybe it's just an Atlanta thing but it happens pretty often. Motherfuckers need to invest in a phone (charger).

If someone asked me that Id probably shoot them. And I would most likely get away with it. White privilege, FTW! Just kidding, mods, I dont carry.

I never let anyone I do not know well or trust use my phone.

People not charging their phone or letting it get bellow 10% also make me laugh as its not that hard to put your phone on a charger over night or when your not busy.

It happens to me fairly often on public transportation. Usually, I'll only do it if it's someone wearing like a medical bracelet and have all of their belongings in a bag or something. Even then, on a train I'm blocking them into their seat or something so they don't just run off with it easily.

Generally, I just say "No, thank you" which doesn't make sense but gets the concept that im being dismissive across.
