There may be alot of useless scenes that don't add up to much (like the cannibal island) but that doesn't matter when everything in the movie is so.entertaining and fun to look at.
And the awesome water wheel fight. The lore is interesting and the humour is on point.

The water wheel bit is great.

I enjoy DMC. Not as good as the first one, but far better than 4 and 5.

Yea I tried watching Stranger Tides but I had to stop after like 20 minutes.
It feels really bootleg. And Jack Sparrow seems really out of character and it's just jarring.

The problem is that the films increasingly make Jack Sparrow the main character, and it doesn't work anywhere near as well as him being the unpredictable wildcard.
