Depends on whether the hard drive is still good.

If the HDD is toast then it will be quite hard to get everything recovered.

Otherwise it will be easy, just time-consuming.

If the hard drive is fine, just take it out of the laptop and get a USB cable connector that can hook up to it. If it's dead, then it's probably a massive pain in the ass, if you can get anything.
