The world (USA+) is set up to prey on people with bad shopping habits tho. Thank God I avoided most of that pit.

People who excessively spend are victims. They're just really annoying victims. Especially when they're also broke. Still victims tho. Like I said, everyone preys on those with this bad habit.

There are 500 major corporations with giant advertising departments that are constantly scientifically studying and applying new ways to exploit human psychology for their own benefit. The game has been fixed for over a hundred years (well, in this particular way), we're just so used to being the victim that we can't even see it most of the time.

Yup :/. It's just some of us were either taught or organically figured out how to avoid falling into it more than others. A lot of us have even been manipulated into batting for these companies and blaming the victims instead. Pretty sure I've done that once or twice+ when younger. I don't remember a specific moment, but I remember not being so empathetic to those who fall into to it since I was just naturally more of a minimalist. Then I realized I kind of lucked up and fell into the mindstate I have, it's not cause Im smarter than anyone. My weak spots are just elsewhere
