Are they flying low? That always scares the hell out of me when jets fly by at low altitude. Just a loud roaring that sounds like it's coming from all directions. The last one was so loud, that I literally couldn't hear myself talk.

But one time some ass was flying lower than he should have been and all one heard was a swoosh and then very very loud crackling sound.
