Once there everything you buy would probably have to be grown/made there or be really expensive and like you wouldnt be able to say play smash bros with your friends who live on earth. --- I want a pet Lavos Spawn. In UC Gundam, colonies are kind of where poor people live, but that's a simplification. All moving expenses(so yes, unless you have an absurd amount of stuff you get all your stuff) are paid for and the house is free. Other stuff would cost money. SSJCAT posted... You could play video games you brought with you and maybe some companies would put games on the colony's network for folks to purchase.
