That other topics TC is dragging his feet so hard

Ive been playing my PSP copy of FFT for some time. In chapter 3 and been doing some major major grinding to get my party up to snuff. I currently have 3 party members including Ramza all doing the path to ninja and get duel wield, then its onto Samurai. I was able to cover a lot of ground very quickly by having all three grinding the same professions at the same time to maximize jp bleed over. We blazed through archer, thief, monk and now of course ninja. They were already very high level knights so they already had equip sword

In short, they have been utterly dominating lol. Dual wielding ancient swords mean everything dies in one shot. Agrias and Mustadio have been a pain in the ass, but theyve also been paired up to get more bleedover jp. Just did a 5 knight party to rack up jp and it only took one fight to get Mustard speed break and Agrias equip swords. Shes on the road to ninja as well, but I havent figured out what to do with mustard yet; probably some magic and then back to chemist for a bit to get some item utility.

Any ideas on what to pursue next? I have a kickass pair of black mages Im making into summoners but Im not sure what other classes they need as requisite. One is a mystic right now, cant remember why. Theyre not seeing much use with the amount of grinding I have going on though.

My cousin has the game as well, how good is the multiplayer gear,

also do I need to bother with these damn Chocobos lol? They keep breeding, Ive dismissed over 50 already

What to do next? As in fun Builds?

Time Mage
Draw Out
Magic Attack UP
Speed Save
Teleport

Move - Quick - Move - Draw Out next to as many people as you can. If you don't need to do this, you can give give them Haste to make them even faster. Female, of course.

Ninja
Jump
Equip Spear
Hamedo
Move/Jump 2/3 or just Teleport

Check the turn order, find someone, Jump on them. Repeat

You can poach a red one for a good item. (Yes, you can poach your own monster units.)

First strike seems useless; been in five battles and it hasnt triggered a single time, with three units having the ability equipped.

Completely more overpowered than the original overpowered ultimate gear.

I don't remember exactly but like Chaos Blade has 40 attack power in the original and there are multiplayer weapons even stronger than that.

Trade Cities like Dorter have Fur Shops. You need the poach skill equipped to shop there too.

All Reactions like this are Brave% of the time. If the unit has 76 Brave, the Reaction still with trigger/happen 76% of the time.

samurai stats kinda suck btw, ninja was kicking way more ass. What do I get with samurai, just unlock the sword spells or go for big ticket items like double hand?

Ninja and monk are severely overpowered. Samurai is solid but it just doesn't care to those two.

Here's how to cheese the hell out of that fight.

1. Autopotion as react, only carry the best potions you can get, and sell the weak ones.
2. Yell (Tailwind on PSP)
3. run away
4. Repeat until you get seven or eight actions for each one Wiegraf gets
5. Go full ham

Well I beat all those. Took seven tries to get a good wiegraf strategy. I did it as a kid by going dragoon and jumping a lot.

Anyways now is the shot to make Ramza a dark knight; knight is mastered and I now have an entire party of black mages to grind jp faster. Once black mage is mastered it should just be a few samurai levels etc.

You need auto potion on all characters. Load earlier save and farm jp/money. You only want x potions in your bag. (One that heals for 150). Auto potion will use weakest potion u have in your bag first. That allow you survive duel and for your team to be able to handle boss and demons right after.

You forgot the Chameleon Robe to block his use of Sword Skills. It doesn't prevent them, but the AI thinks it does, lol. I'm sure it's fixed in the WotL game, though

Yar I've had auto potion, but I tend not to use it unless I have to as it breaks a lot of the game's fights. Now since I've done so much grinding though, it's become a prerequisite esp for the random bouts.
