With friends like her who needs enemies? Seems she's just going to use you to get what she wants much like she did during the six years of your relationship. I'd cut all contact personally.

What ever you're coming to terms with doesn't seem to be the point you need to arrive at. You need to cut this person out of your life, yet you are talking about how eagerly you want to lower yourself to try and curry favor with someone who betrayed you and manipulated you for years.

You say she wants to be friends? I am aware there are people who are capable of having friendships after a relationship but I would say the majority of the time it doesn't work. That sounds pretty selfish on her part to expect to be able to have a friendship with you.

Well she's still friends with the bf she had before me though.
I see that as a sign of staying friends with her being possible.

It's a sign that she has a pattern of doing this to guys. Seriously, run.
