...and there exists a unique independent cosmos for every conceivable reality, is it not then implied that every work of fiction conjured by the mind of a man or woman, each book, film, television series--they all actually exist in one of these alternate universes? That somewhere in the multiverse, there really are FBI agents named Mulder and Scully investigating bizarre phenomena under the mandate of the FBI?

And conversely, does it not also imply that we ourselves exist in the form of a fictional work in one of these alternate universes? And if we even entertain the notion of that idea for the briefest moment, it leads us to a disturbing question: what if this, our apparent reality, is the fictional work of another universe? Perhaps one advanced to the extent that an in-depth cosmic simulation is not only possible but currently underway--and we are the characters.

That's what I don't get when people say the universe is infinite though, well in terms of size it's not really infinite but it terms of time it's infinite and space too (voided space) and well actually quantum phyics says there's probably a finite amount of parallel universes like 10 or 12 universes, similiar but different to ours

Possibly. It's interesting to think about. I'd like to think there exists a universe somewhere where I had a more successful life

I don't think it can work because there would be an infinite number of parallel places that could and would contact this place, if every conceivable reality exists individually

An infinite number of universes are created every millisecond. Sounds crazy? Not really.
Did you blink 3 seconds or 4 seconds ago? In one universe, you blinked later (or earlier) than you did in ours.
There could be a universe that's literally identical to ours to the smallest details, except you, and you only, blinked 4 seconds ago instead of 3.
Now apply this factor for every being that lives (or lived) in the universe.
Hence, infinite universes are created every second.

That's not how any of that works, even in fiction. Why would X-Files agents Mulder and Scully investigating aliens and shit be real elsewhere? That has a zero probability of happening.

You're confusing lots of different things. For example, with infinite time, anything with a non-zero probability will happen. Including repeats of this universe and possibly our lives.

Multiple universes can also exist, but they're not related to us in any way. Just other bubbles in a vast amount of space.

Parallel dimensions can also exist. But they're not parallel universes where events happened differently. Mearly a different "layer" to put it simply.

Yes. But people like it because it makes them feel important enough that their decision to or not to have fries with breakfast was cosmically shattering enough to spawn it's own universe.

This is also true.

The theory should then go that there also exists a universe which is stronger than the others and comes out on top, diminishing the purpose of random multiverses such as What if John got fries with his meal? to that of the auxiliary. There can only be one. One is one.

although, it wouldnt surprise me if the exception to the rule were some seemingly inconsequential event such as that.

Wouldn't that make your life more insignificant? It doesn't matter if some other you had fries with breakfast, they are still you and still pathetic. Best to just focus on the you that is here, what are you doing with your life if you are thinking of such scenarios? You're probably bored if you have that kind of brain fart.

I think the idea that a given reality Branches upon each decision is unlikely, as most mundane decisions don't change most people's lives. But there are exceptions, and some of the craziest shit has been avoided simply because someone's battery was dead so they didn't die in a pile up, or any other multitude of examples. But as I said, most simple choices and events don't matter.

Loki spoilers

That being said the idea in Loki that a more significant event or choice that happens to people do create a nexus event, thusly a variant version of themselves was very interesting, and it makes sense.

I've never heard of any parallel universe theory predicated upon every conceivable reality being true.

Parallel universe could easily be a single other universe, for example, one in which anti-matter is the dominant form of energy in the universe as opposed to matter in our universe.

Parallel universe(s) could be a countable number, a real but inconceivably large number, or an infinite number.

Even if there is an infinite number, it doesn't mean that a reality you could conceive would be part of that infinite set. It could be all of the infinite universes closely resemble ours and maybe even a "you" exists in most of them. Or the infinite universes could all be utterly unique with their own laws of physics and you are the only you in all the multiverse.

Another way to put that. Odd numbers go to infinity. But that set of infinite numbers clearly doesn't include any even number.

But none of that means every work of fiction would be true somewhere or that ANY work of fiction would be true somewhere or that you are in a work of fiction.

So I would say no, there is not any universe in which Vegy gets laid.
