so still a good number of things left to redeem the month on the indie front (in case deltarune pt2 or sable (does sable count as indie) also aren't enough lol)

skatebird down to 61 :( Not awful but a shame after all the delays.

On the bright side, TOEM is at a 79 which is probably about as high as that kind of game could get. Pretty hyped for that one!

Edit: Oh also Eastward is out today and averaging 84 :O

Can confirm, SkateBIRD is not very good. Put about two hours in and got to the second level and just realised I wasn't having any fun and stopped playing. It's not bad, really, it's just the gameplay is too janky and the rest of the game isn't good enough to compensate.

Oh ya physical copy. Wish it had a physical right from the start though.I guess waiting another month and change isnt too bad.

Played Kena up until the end of the first major boss. It's incredibly fine. Like a solid 7.5-8/10 so far. Zero innovation in both the gameplay and plot and artistically feels just like a pleasant mish-mash of Pixar and Ghibli without anything actually original.

Plays fine though. Few complaints about some of hitboxes, but otherwise solid.

figured i'd have a look at how everything's reviewing now too

a little bit surprised to see opus: echo of starsong sitting at an 88 average (albeit from a sadly modest 7 reviews), putting it in the running for the top of this month alongside deathloop, tales of arise and i guess death stranding definitive counts (slightly surprised to not see any of eastward/deltarune ch2/sable/12 mins/kena up there)

i also noticed that metallic child and severed steel are also rather starved for coverage (surprisingly, despite maintaining actually pretty good player counts from what i noticed on steam... severed steel's got more people playing currently than toem which got a decent amount (and about 4 times as many as skatebird) and metallic child has nearly 420 right now (so over 20 times as many as skatebird...)) despite seeming pretty legit

close to melty cant wait to spend hours customizing waifus aw yeah
