If it doesn't work out, well the catalogue of games they've amassed until now is still pretty darn good.

It's not the worst thing that could happen for the franchise. Should be fine.

I just didn't really like it. I love turn based games but it just didn't feel right in a Yakuza game.

It's not a full brain drain of the studio is it?

Lots of other producers, writers, directors and other designers still remaining, should be enough talent on there to keep things going.
