Most of Amazons customers are probably a world away from where the criticism tends to really take place on the center stage or in a serious way......

and the main-vein news probably only shows publicizing stunts or really big events and other scandalous blurbs

World hunger isn't a matter of wealth either, it's a logistics problem. For example one area of famine right now is northern Kenya. They're being blockaded because of civil war. You can pay for the food and for the cost to ship it, but you still can't get it there.

Psychological biases and follies aren't only present at extremes. Look up confirmation bias. I'm merely saying that if you find yourself consistently searching and only getting one type of information, you get a really skewed perception of reality, and that skewed perception can make people over invested.

Let's say somebody really likes your watch. They say they'll give you $100 for it, and you say no because it has sentimental value to you.

In this scenario, you never took anyone's money. You don't have that money to hoard. Nobody lost $100 out of their pocket because somebody else offered you $100 for your watch. It's just that someone is willing to pay you for something you own.

Again, that's not the point. I'm not saying trust Amazon at face value. I'm saying you shouldn't be getting a constant source of info from the same side, and refusing to listen to the other.

It's important to get a balanced feed of information and be open minded to information presented to you.

Climate change and covid deniers came to be from the same mindset you have. Constantly getting news from a biased sources. Did you ever see me deny Amazon's bad working conditions? I don't think I've ever even posted anything positive about Jeff Bezos. Just explaining basic financial or psychological concepts. Don't know what wiring you guys have that spins that into "he's simping."

As a boss, there's a ton of people just as bad as Bezos or even worse. Why is he singled out amongst the rest? To further answer TC's question, I think Bezos has became the face of capitalism for people so they target their hate of capitalisms to him. It's like how you see these silly attack ads from the Republicans about "Nancy Pelosi and her liberal friends."
