See I really want to get and play these right now but I also want to hold out hope for a console release. Trying to curb that want by playing FF9, FF3 3D, and FF Theatrhythm. Was playing FF8 but I finished it already lol.

1, 2 and 3 were pretty nice so I hope 4 and 5 come out good.

i feel like the PSP Anniversary Editions of FF 1 and 2 are much better than these remasters. Same goes with the FF4 Complete Collection.

The only change it would need for me is being able to save in the final dungeon. I've never played the 3d remake, so that might already be a feature

No, only via quicksave/autosave, which is basically save states

there are no save points in the crystal tower

I still have my SNES cart and play it every now and then, but I'll be checking for it. The 3D remake was an abomination IMO. For the most part I love the FF3 remake (once you 'patch' the font).

I disagree with FF1. The pixel remake is much better than the PSP version; mostly due to the magic system being superior. Granted, it is the easiest version of the game and some of the challenge is missing. I still prefer the original NES version.
