I got a Canali coat 60% off because it was only one left my size. Really fell in love with the colour. Going to the tailor to make some alterations especially on the sleeves.

Planning to get some light grey or beige pants to go with the jacket down the road

I can't say much about coats because I live in a tropical region. I will say, however, that I have very small, petite feet. 11.5 is probably the smallest size for me! I have a 2.5 inch heel and 1.5 inch toe that get in the way. I think you could still wear that coat to be considered cute though. In related news, have you seen that Fashion movie with Meryl Streep as the new head of the NY Times? It is fantastic. It seems like she is the embodiment of the "new boss". She is fearless and knows what she wants. It makes me think that if I was the new head of the NY Times, I would wear a coat like that and I'd give her hell.

I was trying to read through the topic and realized that I don't think my "in season" looks are ever as bad as everyone else's "out of season" looks. It makes me feel a bit better!

but going back to this coat, damn do i ever love it. so lucky i got the last one at size 48 (38 in US)
