Maybe they switched the scenes around for the trailer, and Peter is already suited up when Doc Ock sees him. So he just sees Spider-Man and assumes it's Tobey Spidey.

(Or Tobey isn't showing up, and the Peter variant from this world also looks like Holland.)

As much as I really want them to, I dont think Tobey or Andrew are gonna be in this film. Or in the small chance that they are, itll be an extremely small and short cameo at best.

My ultimate wish for this movie is for Tobey to play a big mentor role like Peter B Parker did in Into the Spider-Verse, and for Andrew to play the other big ally role like Spider-Gwen did in Spider-Verse. But I think thats too much to ask for.

it would be silly to not have the other Spider-Men be in the movie while including their villains.

no way Holland Spider-Man would be able to handle electro, doc and goblin on his own.

According to this new leak, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is on the run after Far From Home and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) agrees to shelter him and his accomplices Ned (Jacob Batalon) and MJ (Zendaya) at the Sanctum Sanctorum. Thats where Peter screws up by falling for Green Goblins (William Dafoe) tricks.

The villains from Sonys Spider-Man trilogy and The Amazing Spider-Man are imprisoned inside the Sanctum. The multiverse is unstable, so Strange has captured these villains.
The various Oscorps from these alternate realities are toying with inter-dimensional travel, and Strange tells Peter he has to capture them after having accidentally helped free them. Green Goblin tells Peter that the other universes Spider-Men were corrupted, and the villains have to get back to their realities to save those worlds. If this leak is accurate, then it looks like were going to witness a repeat of Peters actions in No Way Home. This Peter Parker might be too trusting for his own good, but Peter would have no way of knowing hes dealing with different villains.

Dafoes character will supposedly lead the villains to the Oscorp in the MCUs main timeline to get the technology that would make it possible to open a portal between dimensions. Peter is defeated in a big fight, with Strange rescuing him again. The wizard will tell Parker that he needs help, and thats how the other Spider-Men will be recruited. Tobey Maguires Peter Parker is supposedly married to MJ and has a daughter in his reality. Andrew Garfields Peter is a college professor.

I highlighted it in spoilers just in case but it's pretty clear this isn't how it happens from the synopsis provided by the trailer.

Now there are some elements to this leak that seem to match some other leaks but they don't have the ending so that's probably bogus.
