You're not so small, you have a lot of coastline and, oh yeah, you're just one big, gigantic state where people move here and then just leave, and when you get here you don't know anybody and you're just trying to get through school and your landlord needs your rent. So if it seems like you're never going to get a landlord, you just kind of stay in the house, and you eventually get sick of all that and move to something new, and eventually you'll find a landlord. I had never heard of a landlord not wanting to rent to a person of color. A landlord who was a person of color. I'd never run into a landlord who was a person of color, or who had any other particular race or ethnicity, being a landlord. I'd never heard of it before. That was the part that really shocked me.
