They decided this last Friday. Fall starts in 1 week and we're going to be in person. Seems like a bad decision imo.

I got a text about 2 hrs ago that theres free vaccinations and they will put $50 on your student ID to spend anywhere on campus + a list of other possible rewards.

my previous one is requiring them for fall, apparently they dropped a bunch of people that didn't hit the august 1st deadline.

Yeah. I cant see how it makes sense to require it in the spring but not the fall unless youre banking on the problem going away by spring.

On the radio the other day they said they have at home alternatives already in place for those that aren't vaccinated or those that have concerns about being on campus. Seems like it could have been easy to accommodate everyone.

My institution is requiring them for Fall but still switched to virtual "for a couple months" (I don't buy it lol) because cases kept popping up on campus. But I also suspect that "religious exemptions" won't be too stringently looked at. At this point I hope we just stay online. Switching my shit back to in-person is going to be almost as annoying as switching to online last minute was.

And yeah most undergrad classes have sections online and sections in-person (well, not anymore) while pretty much all the grad ones are online.

lots of things just cant be done at home, like lab work for one. i'm not really sure what the hell they did last year for most of the science courses.
