Looked gf 08/22/21 10:43:40 PM #1:	One family in Winchester had a tragic start to their weekend when one of the family dogs attacked an 11-year-old boy early Friday morning before school. The attack cost the boy one of his ears and the dog his life. "It happened in 5 seconds" Our dog Beans and our other dog Bellatrix heard him and so they were standing at the top of the stairs and kind of started growling and he didnt pay any attention to it, like theyre not going to hurt me, whatever,' says Jessica. Got up the stairs and our dog thought that he was somebody whod broke into our house because he had his face covered so he didnt see him so I mean immediately grabbed a hold of him. Jessica was able to quickly pull Beans, a pitbull, off of Malakia, but the damage was done. Malakias right ear was bitten off in the attack. Luckily, Malakias hearing is still intact but as an 11-year-old boy, hes worried about being bullied and cosmetic surgery to replace his ear is very expensive. NEITHER of them blame their Pitbull: Jessica says Beans was put down Friday night because she says something like this cant happen again. Jessica says what happened is no ones fault and she doesnt want people to think pitbulls are vicious animals. If you take a normal dog, and you put it with a pit bull, you're breeding for some kind of fight. When I was growing up, we always heard about the great fighting dogs. I mean, there's no other way to say it. These dogs, they fight, all they do is fight. But what would happen if there was a dog show without fights? It's not a big deal, people fight. It's the thing to do. But the thing is, pit bulls don't fight just any old dog. I remember my friend Michelle said it was one of the most stressful things she's ever done. There's plenty of other larger breeds who make fantastic companions. Labs and German Shepherds are fantastic. She was old and overweight and just followed people around, rolling on her back to try to solicit belly rubs. I don't get the whole CE hate boner for the breed. Rottweilers are also dangerous but since there is probably 10 or 20 Pits for every 1 Rottweiler out there you will OBVIOUSLY have more deaths from Pitbulls since it's a popular breed and cheap for people who want "guard dogs". <cite>kelemvor posted [p:957348646] in Pitbull EU...
