Such a timeless feeling anime. Highly recommend it.

Megaloboxing is an anime convention that has seen many iterations, from a tiny pop-up in a hotel lobby, to a four-day event, and an annual four-day convention. Were happy to report that the megaloboxing scene is alive and thriving at the moment, and weve made some observations about the state of the scenes at conventions around the country.

We dont cover the big-money events, because were really in the middle of the pack. Were in the upper 2% range in terms of budget. And, as weve had the opportunity to see megaloboxing at first-hand at two events, it was obvious that while its good, its not great. This is the first step in creating better conventions.

Before the mega-events, the only big conventions were ones in the Northeast and Southwest, and only the larger conventions managed to get high attendance.

The whole anime is filled with symbolism. This is definitely one i will be rewatching a few times.
