I really do. They're afraid of after/side effects and the fact that it came kinda fast. The sane ones anyway.

no they arent. It all started because of Q Anon and Trump. Spread through the GOP, and now theyve made it political. They arent fuckin scared of shit. They just dont want the libs telling them what to do. Our country is so stupid that we turned a fuckin deadly disease into a political battle. There are countries praying for the vaccine as it kills their family, and we have privileged Americans crying about their rights. Give me a fuckin break.

As an Australian, my view is if people don't want to be vaccinated that's their choice (as selfish and stupid as it is), however if they do get COVID, they should pay full price of their health care (essentially Medicare is revoked). They should walk out of the hospital with a 500k bill, America-style.

(Australia has universal healthcare and you don't have to pay your hospital bills as every tax payer pays the Medicare tax charge)

It can actually cause all sorts of lingering effects, potentially for life. Much sooner than any potential vaccine effects so that argument doesn't make sense. ED is one such effect but it can also affect your organs. So even if you don't die, it isn't great for your health if you get Covid.

I suppose, American and Australian outlook on healthcare is very different. And what I said will never happen, because the unvaccinated will just say "well I've paid my Medicare tax so you can't deny me the service".

Hell if I know the actual mechanics of it. I can barely get hard, and it doesn't last, if I move or stand instant flaccid. Viagra, Testosterone, losing 30 lbs, lowering my blood pressure, nothing has worked so far. I can finish if I spend a literal half hour beating on it, but I've only managed to get hard enough to penetrate my girlfriend twice in the 6 months we've been dating. I am insanely lucky she is so understanding and has a good sense of humor about it.

I feel this is most unvaccinated people. Being anti this vaccine is not the same as the anti vax for life crazy people.

The other issue is the smugness. People are just loving the holier than thou attitude they feel entitled to.

I don't understand why people are so vaccine hesitant. Vaccinations have saved so many human lives throughout the centuries. Vaccinations, the human immune system, and the interaction between the two have been studied for centuries.

There are virtually no side effects to modern vaccines, with the extremely rare exception of Guillain-Barre syndrome. Egg allergies realistically don't exist, and someone having an anaphylactic reaction to vaccines is so rare you'd be able to write a case study if you ran across one. Thimerosal is a completely different kind of mercury, in almost negligible amounts, and is rapidly cleared from the body.

There are a multitude of different types of vaccines. Yes, this was the first mRNA vaccine implemented en masse, but it was preceded by decades of mRNA vaccine research. The retrospective safety data after implementation (and this doesn't even consider the safety data when it was still in clinical trials) shows zero adverse effects. And this was peer reviewed by people who were not paid by any pharmaceutical company.

To be hesitant because "you don't know" is akin to never getting surgery because you don't know what they do when you go to sleep. It's bizarre and, honestly, idiotic.
