Let's see... My sister and I went to the Farmer's Market at Coney Island in the morning, ate some yummy food from the food truck, then took the kids to the ice cream store to pick out a flavor, and then we rode the Cyclone roller coaster at Coney Island for the first time! That was the most fun!

And then, I made this for dinner tonight. It was pretty easy. I just had to put the chicken, rice, and broccoli in some plastic bags, and that was it. Then, I put them in the slow cooker on low for 4 hours.

So glad that I picked up these ingredients. They were on sale at Costco today, and I was on a budget. The kids ate so much broccoli. And the chicken... oh, the chicken. They couldn't get enough. I even let them have more chicken on the side.

I've been trying to get the kids to eat more fruit lately.

Spent the day watching the weather and hoping the tropical storm wouldnt be too bad and knock power out for days.

Thankfully we still have power.
