He forced an election no one actually wanted for the sole purpose of trying to gain a Majority Government and right now it's looking like it's going to blow up in their face.

Unless something pops up in the next three weeks that completely blows up in the Conservative Party's face there is essentially zero chance the Liberal Party gains that Majority (they need a net gain of 15 seats), and if anything they currently stand to lose seats (which would make them even more reliant on the NDP/Green Party) if not actually losing the election outright (to a Conservative Minority Government).

Like if we end up with another election in 2023 (likely, most Minority Governments only last ~2 years here) and he's still the Leader, they're for sure going to get slaughtered.
