Earlier this April, I went to clock into my job and had to find my uncle passed away in my home office. After handling that day itself and the following month or two pretty well, I suddenly found myself constantly worried that either my Dad or my best friend were going to die overnight as well. It's also made me occasionally worried for my Mom, and lately, I've constantly felt there's something wrong with me on a physical level. I know this kind of behavior from your Mom looks ridiculous, but for her sake just check in with her to put her mind at ease. This is coming from someone who's had no prior history of anxiety or panic attacks and couldn't even comprehend such things in the past. I always thought I handled stress better than most people and yet nowadays, I find myself a complete nervous wreck. I've known people who were fine one day and sick from Covid the next; then died a week or two later from complications.
