I'd go 84.

I feel like anything under 15 mph over the limit isn't worth a cop's time to chase you down.

Plus, you'd probably be keeping pace with the rest of the traffic.

Technically the speed limit, but no cop would bother fucking with you so long as you're going with the flow of traffic in the fast lane even if you're greatly speeding. Generally, they probably won't bother unless you're going over ten over or they're really fucking bored anyway.

In this scenario, I'd go 79. If a car is approaching you, yield. If there is no car in the second-to-the-left lane, chill there at 79 tbh. Leftest lane is always for passing.

4-5 lanes? So like right lane, two middle lanes, left lane? You should stay out of the right lane unless you are going to be leaving soon. The middle lanes are for standard driving. Left lane is for passing.

If it's 4-5 lanes wide, I'm not going in the far left lane at all, because while I may be going 75-85 in a 70mph zone, there's people willing to go 90+ on the same road.

I'm driving in one of the middle lanes, and letting the wannabe Dom Toretto's of the world pass me by.
