In my entire graduate school class there isn't a single interracial relationship except one Asian girl dating a white guy.
I also don't see interracial relationships at all when walking outside. Is this just a VA thing or east coast? It is pretty horrifying to me

It's not an East coast thing. In FL you'll see a lot of white and black guys dating latinas

People don't climb economic and social ladders in this country. Wealthy White people fucking and and making more wealthy white people concentrates wealth among one racial class, causing minorities to be associated with the lesser classes. Negative attributes are associated with lower class. And you get systemic racism

I did not say that. I just explained a basic theory on the etiology systemic racism to you.

People generally will always try to marry persons of higher status, if there is a racial correlation to that it is because of systemic racism

It may just be your area.

I can only speak for the school I went to, and the schools my kids currently go to, but there's a decent amount of "race mixing" or whatever you want to call it.

in nursing school I was one of 2 straight males in a class of 50 women. So no.

In med school, yes there is a lot of hooking up and dating. probably not for nonhealth care grad programs temporarily cuz of covid

I can see that TC's talking about interracial dating and marriage being an avenue of social mobility, and it's good to have that avenue opened wider rather than closed off. But I'm of the opinion that who we choose to date, just as who we choose as our friends, remains a matter of personal choice rather than obligation.

Agreed. I hope I did not imply otherwise. I just find that if an area has a very little interracial relationships (not just dating) it is usually a bad sign. I don't think people should feel pressure to date persons of other races, rather it just should be something that happens naturally

I am with you on loving asian women, the only reason I am actually considering marriage as viable is due to the asian woman I have been dating. Loyalty, feminine, and traditional values are attractive as hell, especially with how most women in the US are so proud of their body count.
