include some advanced technologies for this to make any sense' thing going on. The vibe in that trailer was weird.

Also how that line is like "before people and Pokemon lived in harmony" or whatever and the entire trailer is like, your character being in harmony with Pokemon lol.

Yeah, should have been a new regional variant made out of ore that was struck by lightning.

I mean the pokemon universe has Teleportation, near instanteous healing of injuries, storing living beings as data and converting them back to physical matter without ill effect, sending data back and forth through time, reviving fossils, holograms, etc.

Hundreds of years in the past is probably still near our level of tech.

This isn't supposed to be like...5000 years back as some kinda BC equivalent.

And remember the Hisui/Sinton region is largely undeveloped. Presumably there exist more settled regions at the time hat vibe better with the tech displayed.

That doesn't change the fact this is the first game you see a Pokemon actually attack a human

It has that weird "we want to be BOTW but can't seem to nail it" thing going for it. It looks so astronomically empty.

At the end of the day it's just weird to me for it to bring that up and then you still end up with the standard team of 6 Pokemon (is it going to explain why that ends up being the limit at all?) and a big part of the game is obviously using tamed Pokemon as transportation.

There's also the whole thing with the Poke Balls in the first place that seem to just ignore any kind of lore when they want to lol.

Kaldrenthebold posted...

Some of the Pokemon just...don't look like they really belong either.

Like Starly is supposed to travel in huge flocks and all you see is like, 2-3 of them bouncing around on the ground?
