It's not Biden's fault that he had clean up Trump disastrous foreign policy mess. He had very few options because Trump had already made a deal with the Afghan government to pull US troops out last year. Which was a mistake and probably would've resulted in a worse situation than what we're dealing with now. What options did Biden have? Honestly it smells of a setup from the former cheeto in chief to ruin Biden's credibility. And stop saying Afghanistan is a lost cause! Do you really think Biden is just going to sit back and let that country fall to an oppressive theocratic regime? This was just a minor setback in a major operation! Biden will utilize the full force of the US military and there will be twice as many boots on the ground as there were in 2003! The US will bring democracy to the Middle East which will help bring world peace! Trump can try and spin this how he wants but Biden's not taking the rap for this.

afganistan isn't even really trumps fault. the blame falls at bush's feet for having us invade the country and stay long term.

None of this will cause more than a blip in the political landscape. The decision to leave is popular with the public. Weary of decades of pointless and expensive wars.
This will not be a factor in the mid terms or the next presidential election.
We should have left Afghanistan at least 10 years ago. There's nothing left we can do there.
Sucks to be the certain Afghan people at the moment but honestly I don't give a shit about them and outside the virtue signaling chambers of the internet neither does the Average American.
We've got more important things to worry about at home. That's what Biden will be judged on come the next election cycle
