And then there is, "Style," and, "Treatment," as well. I'm so lost. I just want it really short on the sides, longer on top, with a fun color like Purple or something

That second pic you posted is an undercut styled into a fauxhawk. Something I learned from my wife when I started going to the same salon as her, is that it's actually common practice for people to just bring a picture of a haircut that they are aiming for to their hairdresser. This way, it shows the style is exactly what you want to go for.

I'm not really sure what an undercut would classify as on that list from the website or looking at, so you might need to get in touch with them...

Regarding color though, it's surprisingly easy to do your own hair color at home with short hair. If you have a spouse, or even just a friend who doesn't mind helping out, it's pretty foolproof and only takes like 2 hours.
