The believers in those religious figures are extra special snowflakes and the GoW team could get actually hurt/killed for having them in a video game in the year 2021 and beyond.

I hadn't thought about it before, but if GoW 2018 takes place sometime around the 7th or 8th century, that makes it harder to incorporate most other mythologies in the story since they would have come before that.

I can see it now.
