That's why people can't simply live and work wherever they want because there will always be someone who has trouble accepting that people are different, come from different parts of the world, view the world differently... The nomads of old just went from place to place surviving, whichever place had the most resources and places for grazing cattle. Hell it wasn't until the British invaded and basically forced places like the arab lands to put lines that we had this concept of countries. Before it was just "regions" with people from that region. Best analogy I can give is like when my mom worked security at a military base and this civillain who had a cleaning job on the base wantes to bring her kids in and dump them at the rec center while she worked. My mother couldnt approve iit cause they where not approved visitors. Woman got mad but my mother explained to her that if shit hit the fan (emergency situation) no body was gonna go looking for her kids cause on paper they didn't exist on the base. She did help the woman petition and get a program started where she and others could bring their kids and leave them at the rec center. And my granfather mentioned it wasnt uncommon an illegal immigrant would get murdered back in his day and it wouldn't be investigated or anything. Couldnt even contact next of kin cause they didn't exist on paper and had nothing to go on.
