Been hopping on every one in a while to make a little progress on the adventure maps. It doesn't require much thinking or commitment, but there's always a nice little goal for when I play. I see why people keep coming back for a lot of play time.

It's taken me a while. In a way the sheer magnitude of content and characters were intimidating. But I see now it's more about always having some small goal to do when you feel like playing, rather than actually completing everything.

Adventure mode is a lot more fun than story mode. You actually manage the flow of troops with raid captains and outpost captains. Those are all but pointless in the story
