I thought the boyfriend part of the title referred to the weapon, but I am finding female weapons on the wiki.

I saw an article refer to the game as Gaydes which I thought was funny

yeah hades is already pretty gay. this game's combat/dungeon stuff is less good (i would say it's not even a roguelike really, since there's no upgrades that only last for your current run) but its still fun enough and all the plot/dating stuff is really cute lol
