logic goes out the window, but who cares. The control input and mechanics make sense and work well, especially for a novice.

As you get better though, it's almost obsoleted when you learn the side flip. That's where you run in one direction and flip the stick hard in the opposite direction and jump. It's basically like a backflip except you go a little bit higher, (ALMOST as high as a triple jump, but not quite) and you can pull it off on the spot without stopping and crouching.

This topic makes me SO QPU misaligned.
