Cartoons like Rick and Morty, Family Guy, Simpsons, Solar Opposites etc. Are all zany and crazy and "dumb" in a lot of ways. A good example is Rick turning himself into a pickle and then screaming "Pickle Rick" to get a laugh. KOTH isnt that. It's an animated slice of life show that finds gentle humour in everyday situations, more akin to Everybody Loves Raymond, Home Improvement or even Frasier. Watching Hank, the incredibly.old fashioned and set in his ways lead trying to figure his way through situations the character would naturally find awkward, embarrassing, confusing etc. That's where the humour is. You'll not see Hank turn into a pickle and scream pickle Hank as he runs around doing all manner of crazy shit. Thing is OP... If you don't like KOTH, if you Love R&M, if you watch reruns of Cheers and Frasier and laugh your ass off but hate The Golden Girls. You're not at all wrong, we are all different..
