Honestly, I think the writing and music is the best since Thousand Year Door.

The battle system isn't great, but it's not bad, either. I don't know why they feel like they have to reinvent the wheel every time.

Also I still can't believe they actually went "there" with Bobby the Bob-Omb

Origami King definitely had one of the best soundtracks I've heard in a video game in years.

Wrong. I beat that game and it was just okay.

I played it for about 40 minutes. Idk just give me a port of TTYD and Ill be good. Nintendo pricks :/

It has glimpses of being a great game but the battle system and other annoyances really hold it back

Battle system holds it back. Otherwise it was decent. But a shite battle system hurts it. A LOT.

The soundtrack is great, but my problem with the series is that they keep adding some new gimmick to the combat, instead of just improving on the combat of the first 2 games. Super Paper Mario wasn't bad, but the new games are getting worse, combat wise, not better.

Like the combat in Origami King isn't bad, but the mechanic of lining up enemies gets old outside of the boss fights. And I found myself just avoiding combat (and I'm not the only one), considering there's no leveling system. Just buy items with coins.

It's not underrated though. It had a decent amount of claim, and that's all it deserved. It was just good.

The music is great and I loved the dialogue and I don't even use that word. My issue was the normal battles most of them require you to set it up which makes them all feel the same all the time. The boss battles were amazing though.

Really dont get why they dont just make a real sequel to TTYD. It isnt has if the M&L series exists anymore.
