It's akin to those people that peaked in high school and still proudly wear their sports team uniform/jacket or something because they never achieved anything else

There's the trade-off aspect, though.

Like you find it annoying but their fans enjoy the hell out of it.

Like Stallone still has the turtles from Rocky, they're like 40.

Compare that to actors who fucking hate the roles that got them where they are and flip out when people bring it up.

Remember when he did a cameo at the end of Tokyo Drift in exchange for the rights to the entire Riddick franchise?

Honestly I kind of respect it, the man likes his big dumb dark sci fi action anti hero.

She's dead now. I'm pretty sure the reboot was her last appearance. IIRC she died somewhere after recording the lines but before the movie released kinda like how marvel had recorded footage of Stan Lee in advance.

Riddick is a thousand times better than F&F. But most people would rather watch a car jump over a nuclear sub. Idiots

I know that Mark Hamill milks the role of Luke Skywalker but I think in his case, he deserves to.

Hamill didn't actually want to do it. He stipulated his appearance on if they could get Ford back thinking they wouldn't be able to and they did.

Except those people made millions of dollars while you post about them on a video game message board.

I think it's more that for most actors it's just a job for them. I'm sure Harrison Ford doesn't care if you say you enjoyed his role as Han Solo. But when people ask him his opinion about Star Wars itself and its lore or whatever he doesn't give a shit. It's just annoying. Fans follow that sort of stuff more than the actors do and I think a lot of fans really struggle with that concept.

Yeah I find it a bit funny but I have to respect his dedication. Especially since the character started off as a pretty typical 'mysterious badass' in a sci-fi monster movie.

His Witchhunter movie is way funnier with that.

It's literally him playing his D&D character.
