I don't care enough to get a raise. I'll be in a high tax bracket so like it's worth fuck all to me

am sysadmin
and do computer things in a school
and have an entire IT company at my beck and call for anything I dont want to do
I am paid a meager 34k a year
But once I hit 35k it's like 'we;re stealing as much money as possible, thanks the government'

With that said, free breakfast/lunch/dinner. They'll pay for college if I want it. I've missed maybe a month or more of work due to being out sick/in the hospital over a suicide attempt and they still paid me. I usually leave at least 30 minutes early and come in 30 minutes late. Phone bill/internet they pay for too. I usually do maybe an hour of work a day at most. I don't have to answer to anyone but the principal and the agreement is 'don't wear anything offensive, don't swear at the students or parents and you're good'

Lol I've always dreamed of having one of those jobs where most of the "workday" is actually freetime. You should definitely go to college on their dime.

I've interviewed and been offered jobs at about 60-70k for actual high level shit but like I don't want the responsibility of it
I have to work solo. I don't trust anyone to actually do as I need. It's one of the perks of working here. The last guy was like 80/20 relying on the IT company. I'm the exact opposite which apparently is fucking amazing to the principal

I'm in a similar boat; I spend most of my day playing FFXIV and idling on team calls.

I could definitely go out and get a better job but why the fuck would I want all kinds of stress and shit when I'm in a perfectly content place for myself

You do you TC, nobody will ask questions so keep enjoying it

Only difference between us is I don't drink until like 10pm and that's because I get headaches if I start drinking sooner.

Get (he has no problem doing it) one of the business teachers to help me set up a company and just repair//fix things the teachers bring in from friends/family etc and charge like $50
