Do you even feel guilty and how do you justify it?

I have a buddy who has like 4 girlfriends, 3 of them are long-distance. 2 of them are "serious" and 2 of them are more casual relationships. 1 of them he takes "seriously" and he's even told me that he's thought about marriage and stuff but it likely wont work out because they are both dead set on not wanting to move out of their respective states. He justifies it by saying he's just enjoying himself before he actually gets married. But I don't imagine him actually staying loyal when he's married. He feels like no guilt whatsoever.

Cheating in terms of having a random one night stand that you meet at the bar/online...is not that difficult if given the opportunity.

Cheating in terms of having a legit secondary ongoing relationship (so like a mistress) is mentally difficult over time and it's gonna involve a ton of bullshit/lying that's not good for your conscience.

I cheated in middle school and felt nothing. then again senior year and I hated myself enough to feel sick. I never forgot that feeling so that was the last time, lol. I've never cheated as an adult.
