One of my favourite websites from the 90s is still up as an archive, bless its heart. IcyBrian's RPG page, which was a standard late-90s home grown fansite for insert hobby/interest here. It mostly focused on fanfics and fanart for RPGs, which was a genre I was absolutely obsessed with at the time. Another way of putting that is I'm surprised AVGN started the same year the Wii came out.
