Where basically you train yourself to recognize when youre in a dream and take agency, its tough though because often when you recognize youre dreaming it makes you wake up.

Anyway, I never got around to trying it but it happened to me accidentally a while ago and it was really fucking fun. You control the dream so you can just bend reality around you, its like having super powers.

The last time I recognized I was in a dream all I did was make the dream worse. So I think I'm like halfway there or something.

I suck at it..for the most part.

....I do have this weird thing where I semi-sleep in the morning..and a bunch of small dreams.
They say REM sleep takes a while, but I know I can dream on a dime in the morning.

I was able to do it a few times by waking up right about sunrise and falling asleep after like 5 minutes.

I've done it twice in my life by coincidence, both times when I regularly wore a watch. I used to check my watch as a habit, and caught the time change back to back a couple times.

Both times I immediately started flying around, then woke up in the excitement after a few moments.

I inadvertently learned how to do it when I was keeping a dream diary. Initially I started doing that to see if there was any meaning to my dreams, though it grew to be more than that.

Every time I woke up, I immediately wrote down every detail I could remember, no matter how insignificant or ridiculous it was. At first I could only write two lines worth of stuff, but by the end of the year I could fill a whole page on what my dream that night was like.
I learned a great deal about myself and how to to interpret my dreams, and built a dream map of sorts in my mind, as I tended to dream about specific semi-fictional places, partially depending on my real-life state-of-mind, and because of that I grew to recognize when I was dreaming, and influence the dreams.

After about a year I stopped doing that, because my dreams were becoming too predictable. And as I think the real world is predictable enough as it is, I prefer my dreams to be a place where everything imaginable and unimaginable can happen.
