Yeah a24 is very weird, but I'm glad they exist as someone who can do wide releases without being commercialized for mass appeal.

I already saw it on Sunday, I liked it a lot, but it was very much my speed in terms of the style of more or less being a rapid fire assault of trippy imagery steeped in vast amounts of dream logic. I was kinda reminded of this factoid I learned recently where in the Middle Ages, people werent careful at all about food safety so theyd often eat spoiled, moldy bread and grains that caused widespread ergot poisoning so people were constantly subjected to hallucinations as they were dying of ergotism. Im not sure if thats what the filmmakers had in mind, but I found it interesting to think about.
