I played games like Timesplitters 2 with bots quite a lot back in the day. It was a lot of fun. Halo Infinite's bots capture that spirit really well. Sure they don't compare to human opponents but they don't really have to. Dominating a bunch of bots is fun and it's a good way to learn the map and weapons. Also to just vent and feel good heh. As someone who is really rusty with multiplayer games these days it's really appreciated.

Hopefully they can be used to make up some fun scenarios in the full game. Something else I remember fondly in Timesplitters 2.

Bots combined with split screen is a good time.

And I remember playing 007: The World is Not Enough on N64 with bots because I didnt have friends to play with. It was a lot of fun

I only played a handful of games and hadn't even played that Bazaar level yet.

When I saw that PVP was open I went nope and played against Spartan bots haha. I'd get dominated PVP considering how much people have played already.

I mean I feel it should be in all fps games focused on multi player. What if the internet is down youre bored of the campaign but still got a itch to play? Also it can spice up local multiplayer. Cause 1 on 1 can get boring. Friend of mine and I did that on gears of war and it got to where every match was the same. I grab shotgun he grabbed sniper rifle. And it was a game of if I could close the distance before he finally landed a shot
