No one on CE would win a womens tennis tournament. That doesn't mean its time to merge the divisions.

There's nuance.

The difference being none of us are pro tennis players while Hubbard is a transgender pro weight lifter who lost against other woman.

Advantage does not imply domination. Inherent advantage in this case means one has to put in less effort to achieve similar or greater results than one's peers.

People who argue in favor of MtF competing with other females don't consider the scientific fact that men have a physical advantage over women.

It's alarming that this is still an argument. It's not a sexist take even after transitioning they still have an advantage and it's ridiculous to pretend otherwise to appear "friendly and supportive"

Genetics among women is also a disadvantage. Serena Williams has a genetic advantage over most other female tennis players (who have no ability to grow as big and strong as Williams).

There are certainly times where people just bring up those things to be disrespectful to transgendered people, but participation in sports is one of those times where it is relevant.

transwomen should compete with other transwomen

Having any sort of requirement for them to compete with women, which they are, suggests they might be something other than a woman. A woman is anyone who identifies as a woman, therefore anyone who identifies as a woman should be able to compete with women without requirements. Anything less is basically putting requirements on what it is to be a woman.

That's true and there aren't many men like Shaq

But you're intentionally being intellectually dishonest. There's a difference between people with the same biology with different genes and different biology

The male body is larger, stronger, has different chemical balances, less pain receptors, different muscle and bone mass

They have a defacto advantage over the female body in competative sports. This is literally the reason we segregate sports by sex in the first place. Women literally cannot compete. There is no rule banning women from the NBA or NFL. The best pro female player is still just worse than the worst pro male one because of biology

This is simply not comparable to Serena Williams or Shaq who are just good players with good genes

When you go "Well a trans athlete didn't win one time so there's no issue." to me that's a confession that you're not actually listening to what anyone is saying

Especially considering how silent the same people get when people have no issues with FtM competing in the male leagues. (Except those weirdos in Texas)

She is at least 10 years older than everyone else in competition, I wonder why there are no other 43 year old women competing? Also, she failed at a lot lower weights than she has lifted in the past, sounds like mental mistakes.
