I like when games give you a choice, but make it obvious which you should pick.
Obviously you pick the wrong one, to see what happens, but they just keep repeating the choice till you pick the right one.

But when I have a choice in video games I often choose the one that has a lesser reward for me if I think it's the right choice.

Just now I'm playing through the Mass Effect legendary trilogy and I've been locked out of some gameplay options, like recruiting Morinth cause I just chose the dialogue that I felt was proper rather than the dialogue that gave me max paragon score.

I admit I don't really like it when games give you a choice with a 100% right and 100% wrong and act like it's even handed

RE7 springs to mind

I like a bit of nuance

Like in Witcher 1 when you can give supplies to the elves or not

As well effecting the main plot and attitudes towards you, the elves kill a witness who would have testified in an investigation

This makes the quest harder but not impossible
