It was the worse controller of its time, and it is a good thing Microsoft abandoned it, studied the competition and developed the most ergonomic controller ever.

Sony made 5 bad controllers in a row lol so they made a bad controller and kept it. 360 controller (and X and whatever they're calling the current same one) is just a smaller, more form fitting Duke.

But this is going off topic anyways. The DualSense is trash.

Sony just improved the snes controller. And it was great for its time. It is ignoring reality to call it bad.

Whatever, you are destroying your own argument. If alleged bad controllers are kept, then what about the ones not kept? They really should be trash.

And no, the xbox controller is not a smaller Duke. It is the form factor of the gamecube controller mixed with the sobriety of dualshock.

Symmetric layout can be a good thing, but the sticks need to be in upper position. That's just more comfortable for any game using twin sticks and triggers.

SNES controller worked wonderfully for 2D games. So does the Dualshocks. But they're awful for 3D games which make up 90% of their library.

There's plenty of abandoned controllers that were great. SNES for instance.

360 controller has way more in common with the Duke than with the GC controller or the Dualshock lmao. Its literally just a smaller, more thought out Duke.

Xbox controller has neither the form of the Duke, nor its layout. Just google the images if you're not remembering well.

You should give Microsoft more credits. They are not the idiots you imply they are. The Xbox controller is great.

I have a Dualsense, a Xbox One Elite controller and a Duke right in front of me right now lol

I have a PS5 with 2 Dualsenses, I gave my parents my Xbox in the mean time while I wait for the Series X to be more available and only kept one controller (the Elite controller).

DS4Windows does really weird shit with the vibration. The controller turns into a vibrator while playing Forza Horizon 4.
