Build up credit so you can lease a car, you never need to purchase a car. Cars always depreciate in value. Turn your vehicle into an asset, and not a liability. If a car is ever at the point where its useless/broken down, trade it in for a new car. Dont have to worry about fixing up a hoopty.
Its what the wealthy do. In the mean time, purchase a used car from a dealer, never off the street. Many horror stories from people who purchased cars off the streets, and it literally breaks down the day after they first ride it to their house.
