That doesn't matter, that's just what people have chosen to hone in on since they can't really articulate what exactly is wrong with what the channel is. Even if I grant the entirety of the argument against Cinemasins as 100% accurate it's still harmless, mindless entertainment.

This is no longer entertaining, have fun being a joke nazi I guess

I liked his earlier videos where he didn't just point out random shit that are just arbitrarily called sins. The videos were shorter and the sins were less but pretty valid.

But he's not even the only movie critic personality nor the biggest.

It's purposely not trying to make good points or be consistent though. They even often say this. It's just cheap/easy laughs.

Then it's not really satire. It's just somebody's "le random humor XD" vlog that happens to be about movies.

A lack of consistency is not a good feature for a humorous endeavor. The audience should at least have a way to tell when you're joking and when you're not.

Exactly. If the joke was that he is a nitpicky reviewer that's often wrong and that kind of YouTube personality is what he's satirizing, then his actual jokes should make fun of that fact.

But more often than not, he's playing it totally straight.
