As in, thousands of Republicans won't be able to turn out because their leadership failed them and they died preventable deaths. It's pretty indisputable that the pandemic is disproportionately affecting Republicans over Democrats at this point.

Perhaps this is the reason Republican leaders and pundits have flip flopped and started to push for vaccines.

I know this doesnt fit the anti-GOP narrative. But arent most COVID deaths in urban cities and minorities. I remember people saying COVID was racist last year due to it.

I know this doesn't fit your narrative but patterns from a year ago don't reflect current trends with the variant. The largest/ highest rates of infection and hospitalization are in deep red states.

I guess we will see what happens. All my friends and family are vaccinated so whatever outbreak happens wont really effect me or anyone I know.

You're right, that was true last year. TC is also correct if we're just talking about current trends.

A) You don't have any elderly friends/ family members, young children, or at risk (asthma etc) that couldn't get the vaccine?
B) Why "guess" if we're seeing a pattern now? Do you have some background in epidemiology to share?

its ok, republican state governments across the country have banded together to make it harder for democrats to vote. it balances out.

I doubt it, theres a total of around 600k covid deaths so far, even assuming 500k of those were Republican voters it still wouldnt make much of a dent in the overall turnout.
