Like obviously the later this year gets with no real news on it the less likely it is, but even an August announcement is still 3 months away from when they'd likely release it in November and gives plenty of time.

No, Sony and Guerilla have given zero indication the game won't be released in 2021 still.

If they don't then Sony has no first-party games releasing during the holiday season.

I think the fact they have nothing else releasing is the biggest indicator it'll still release then. Probably a week before or a week after GTA5. Week before only "competition" is Just Dance 2022, week after is FF14: Endwalker.

If it doesn't release they're left with their big holiday push being like, Death Stranding: Director's Cut, Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut, and older games lmao.

Unless they have a big marketing push for GTA5 PS5 but that'd be fucking insanity.
