Managed to beat Diablos on my second try, got a lucky blind in, wasn't able to draw a lot of Demis from it though.

Make sure to stay on top of leveling him up. His attack does percent based damage equal to his level. So lvl 100 is op

A lot. Diablo was just nice when you really didn't feel like fighting enemies. I wanna say he worked on some bosses too but I cant recall cause I did prefer to actually fight bosses

At max level it deals up to 9,999 damage but there are plenty of ways of doing that much or far more in a turn. That will kill a fair number of enemies but enemies level up with you and gain more from leveling than you do, so by the time you get Diabolos to level 100 there are plenty of enemies that will not be killed by it.

It's less overpowered than junctioning 100 Death or Zombie to your status attack, for example.

Why is it that he can hit a 3rd baseman on a frozen rope from 300 feet away, but he can't hit a 12 foot tall catcher from 60 feet 6 inches away?

I remember using him quite a bit. I dont think I ever had many regular enemies break 9999 up.

Idk why it quoted you twice

I really liked its abilities. Encounter none, mug, and both of the magic refinement ones were pretty useful.

One thing to remember once you can steal or mug:

If you mug an enemy then kill it, you will get a shittier drop from it than if you kill it without mugging it.

It's more tedious than complicated. Drawing magic is the worst part, and with a little grinding early on to get Refinement abilities that becomes a non-issue

I could never get the hang of it. Oddly despite not understanding how everything worked I did pretty good with tetra master or whatever it was called

Yeah I've just been floating around the garden challenging people. Still scared enough to save before every match. It's funny that there's an achievement for losing a rare card.

The problem about cards is the ridiculous rules that come into play later. You can change them back, but its a lot of work (from what I remember).

Yeah achievments to losing in games weird me out. Its like why either we get it naturally cause we suck or end up going out of our way to get it which isn't that fun. I'm no trophy hunter but I do feel compelled to get the easier ones at least.

You can deliberately lose certain rare cards to the Queen of Cards for her annoying side quest. There is little if any harm in skipping it if you complete the CC Group quest by defeating their King.

The one kid running around the main concourse of the garden has a powerful card you can take from him i think. See if you can beat him. Its mog
Keep in mind vanilla triple triad isnt hard. You can see their hand so you can play a card but before you do you can see how can he flip it. Or how can he flip back the card you just flipped. Find situations where he has no cards with sides that can flip your exposed sides if you were to play it in a certain spot. Vanilla TT is just logic since you can see their hand.

you can indeed break the game between junctioning and if you play triple triad and use card mod ability you can get squall's ultimate weapon before leaving the first disc.

Yeah I looked up how to do it and originally I wasn't going to, but I figured now that I'm getting a hand on triple triad that I might as well go for it

Go ahead. Final fantasies aren't about their difficulty anyways so I often laugh when people cry about a particular entry being too easy. Final fantasy is popular for the stories more than the gameplay.

Though some people downplay the difficulty of certain entries. Dont take on 10-13 thinking they will be like the ps1 era of the series. They aint hard but compared to the ps1 entries they are

I'm sure it'll make sense later but that dream sequence was randomly weird. Also the train sequence was kind of awkward. It was funny doing the old trick of just instantly killing the zombie with a Phoenix down though.
